WHO WE ARE

The company International Investment Platform ocp a.s. was established in Slovakia in 1999 as part of an international group. In the Slovak market, it provided a wide range of services related to financial instruments, including education in financial advisory and wholesale services of insurance products and mutual funds.

In 2009, the company obtained a securities dealer license, allowing it to expand its offerings with its own investment products. Its client base consisted of domestic clients as well as clients from EU countries, Asia, and Africa.

In 2022, the company separated from its parent group, began developing its own business strategy, and became an independent provider of investment services.

We focus on a wide range of clients, from retail customers to professional institutions (insurance companies, financial trusts, etc.), with our product solutions available globally. The core part of our offering is an open investment platform that allows clients to invest in a wide range of investment solutions. Specialized products, such as regular investing with a managed portfolio, are also available.

Simon Smith

BOARD MEMBER

Simon has worked in the finance industry for over 40 years. He spent 23 years working with Barclays PLC  in UK, Italy, Kenya, Dubai and South Africa and subsequently in senior roles with Alliance & Leicester PLC (now Santander Group) in UK and with National Commercial Bank in Saudi Arabia.

Prior to joining International Investment Platform in 2016, Simon worked for Alquity Investment Management. He was appointed as a Director and a member of the Management Board of International Investment Platform in 2022.

Simon holds a Masters degree from Durham University, and is an Associate of the London Institute of Banking & Finance.

Jakub Sýkora

BOARD MEMBER

Jakub Sýkora is an experienced financial manager with nearly 30 years of expertise in financial services and investment management.

He currently serves as the Director and Chairman of the Board at International Investment Platform, where he is responsible for strategic, operational, and organizational decisions.

Throughout his career, Jakub has gained valuable experience in various managerial positions at domestic and international companies, including Credit Suisse, Raiffeisenbank, and ČP Invest.
